An Iranian official told Reuters on Monday that any US attack will be met with ‘tens of times more severe’ force.

A senior Iranian source was quoted by Reuters as saying that Tehran would respond to any US attack with ‘tens of times more severe’ force.

The source referred to Iran’s response to the recent US aggression against Lark Island, adding that the move showed that “no target in the region is beyond Tehran’s reach.”

Last night’s US attack on Lark Island reignited the flames of direct confrontation between Iran and the US, but Iran’s response was not limited to the Strait of Hormuz.

In response, the Iranian armed forces expanded the scope of the operation to include US military bases in the region.

The Revolutionary Guards initially announced that they had targeted the King Hussein and Al-Azraq bases in Jordan, two of which are held by US forces, with ballistic missiles.

Hours later, it was the turn of the Islamic Republic of Iran's army, which announced that it had targeted the location of American troops and helicopters at Al-Manhad Air Base in the UAE with dozens of destructive drones since the early hours of the morning.
