US overreach prevented a common framework and agreement
️The talks between the Iranian and American teams ended a few minutes ago, and the two sides have not reached an agreement yet due to US overreach and ambition.
️ Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: We reached understandings on a number of issues, but there were differences on 2 or 3 important issues and ultimately no agreement was reached
Begaei:
This round of talks was the longest round of talks in a year, lasting a total of 24 or 25 hours.
️We talked about a range of issues that were both in our 10-point proposal and the proposals of the other side.
️Diplomacy never ends, it is a tool to protect national interests, diplomats must do their duty both in times of war and peace.
️These negotiations were held after 40 days of the imposed war and were held in an atmosphere of mistrust and suspicion; it is natural that we should not have expected to reach an agreement in one meeting from the beginning. No one expected that either.
️Another point was the complexity of the issues and conditions.
️Some new issues, such as the issue of the Strait of Hormuz, were added to these negotiations, and each of these has its own complexity.
️In any situation, we in the diplomatic apparatus must pursue the rights and interests of the Iranian people.
