While all evidence points to a war crime by the US in the attack on a wedding in Sirik, the US Vice President claimed after the CENTCOM spokesman that the country does not target civilians!
The United States never targets civilians in war and “never” will do so and has not done so before, this is the latest claim by US Vice President JD Vance following the attack on a wedding in Kohstak Port, located in Sirik County, Hormozgan Province, on Tuesday night, September 1, 2016.
He stated on Thursday, September 12, 2016, that we are investigating the attack on a wedding in Iran, “because of course we care about it and we want to know what happened. The Iranian state media has not been a very reliable narrator of what happened during this conflict. So I am very skeptical of this report.”
* New York Times Report
The crime that led to the martyrdom of 5 people and the injury of 67 others, and the fourth case of US crimes since March 29 last year, is among other crimes committed by the Americans against civilians, including the Minab School, Lamerd Stadium, and the bombing of a residential house on Qeshm Island.
These statements are made while the New York Times, in an investigative report, reviewed videos and interviewed local people and wrote that the US used JSOW missiles in the attack on the Kohstak wedding party.
