Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced that Ankara had comprehensively exchanged views on the practical steps it will take in implementing the Mecca Treaty for Mutual Defense.

Fidan added: We have started working on establishing the institutional structure specified in the Mecca Treaty for Mutual Defense.

He said: This alliance does not target any country; rather, this alliance is open to all countries in the region.

The head of the Turkish diplomatic service stated: This alliance aims to expand its scope and we are working on it.

The Turkish Foreign Minister: Our alliance is a defense alliance based on international law and is not against any country.

Fidan stated: The Mecca Defense Alliance was established with the aim of expanding and including new countries.

He said: "We are trying to create a strong alliance and the process of creating a new security and cooperation structure in our region has begun."

The Turkish Foreign Minister stated: "Netanyahu has become a threat to the international community and he must be stopped."

Fidan emphasized: "Netanyahu, as an agent of genocide, has become a common enemy of humanity, the international community and global security, and his words should not be taken seriously."
