Fars News Agency Foreign Policy Desk: On September 26, reports emerged regarding a visit by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the United Arab Emirates. Netanyahu’s office subsequently confirmed the news, stating that the trip took place at the invitation of UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed and that the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional challenges.

According to reports, Netanyahu was accompanied on this trip by the head of the National Security Council, the head of the Mossad, the Minister of Defense, and his foreign policy advisor.

Prior to this, *The Times of Israel* and Israel’s Channel 12 had reported on the secret nature of the visit, claiming Netanyahu traveled to the UAE to ask President Mohamed bin Zayed to cover up behind-the-scenes details regarding the October 7 attack. Reports had previously surfaced indicating that the UAE had warned Israel about the imminent threat posed by Hamas prior to the October 7, 2023, attack (Operation Al-Aqsa Flood).

According to news reports, Netanyahu held a six-hour meeting with Bin Zayed, with discussions centering on regional tensions and the "threat posed by Iran."
