Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at a press conference:
We did not trust America at all; we have said many times that negotiations were conducted in an atmosphere of absolute distrust on our part; it was not that we did not consider past precedents.
I have repeatedly emphasized that we entered the negotiation process with our eyes open, considering America’s past negotiations and considering what heinous crime they committed against diplomacy in June. At the same time, we had to thwart their plan and conspiracy to present Iran as a party that is not diplomatic and not ready for negotiations.
We had no choice but to prove that Iran is not to blame for this situation; therefore, what happened is absolutely and 100 percent the fault of the American side.
The German Chancellor’s request to Iran to end the war is ridiculous / Didn’t we start the war to end it?
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a press conference:
It is ridiculous that you ask a country that has been militarily attacked and is defending itself to end the war.
Didn't we start the war that we should end it? Others started the war, they imposed the war on us, and reason, logic, and responsibility require that we blame the parties that are the cause and sponsor of this situation.
Iran is determined to defend its dignity, honor, territorial integrity, and national sovereignty with all its might.
