Islamic Resistance of Iraq: Our response to the recent aggression is certain

According to Al-Imam Al-Harbi, the Islamic Resistance of Iraq strongly condemned the US-Saudi attack on the positions of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces in a statement.

The statement said: After the Islamic Resistance categorically rejected targeting the Saudi regime and its facilities, the American enemy committed a new crime and targeted the Popular Mobilization Forces and the convoy serving the pilgrims of the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in the holy city of Karbala, resulting in dozens of martyrs and injuries.

The Islamic Resistance of Iraq stated: We emphasize without a doubt that the Saudi regime was nothing but a traitorous dagger or a dirty tool operated by the White House and its suspicious intelligence agencies. Just as it previously used its capabilities to send suicide bombers to shed Iraqi blood, today it is forced to renew its allegiance to carry out the crimes and criminal orders of its masters, with the aim of weakening the will of our proud people.

The statement said: "Even if we accept for argument the truth of their claim that the attack on their oil facilities originated from Iraq, is it conceivable that an (unsuccessful) attempt to target an oil field would result in the deaths and injuries of dozens of innocent people?!"

Even if we assume at this critical moment that we have handed over our weapons and missiles to the government to take responsibility for defending the sovereignty, territorial integrity and people of Iraq, in the face of this real field test, what firm stances will it take to prove to everyone that it has the ability to deter the aggressors and take revenge on those who shed the innocent blood of martyrs instead of the resistance fighters, as the Mujahideen have done many times in Iraq?

The Islamic Resistance of Iraq stated: Therefore, we announce the following:

First, we give the government officials who have asked the resistance to disarm until 23 Safar to see what action it will take.

Second, in order to maintain the security of the pilgrims of Abu Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) and the attendants of the processions and to prevent any disruption to the blessed Arbaeen ceremony, we postpone our definitive response to the enemy until the appropriate time, which may include targeting Saudi Arabia.

At the end of its statement, the Iraqi Islamic Resistance prayed for the martyrs of this aggression to have mercy and God's pleasure, and for the wounded to recover quickly.
