Anwar Ibrahim announced in a statement: Following the brutal attack of the Zionist regime on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, the shooting of drones by Iran is a legitimate action. 

This statement was issued after Anwar chaired a meeting of the National Security Council of Malaysia to discuss the rising tensions in West Asia. 

The Prime Minister of Malaysia also stressed that Israel should not take any other retaliation that will increase tensions in the Middle East. 

The Prime Minister of Malaysia stated: The key to solving this problem is to immediately solve the anti human situation in Gaza. Therefore, the world's attention should be focused on it completely and without deviation. 

He added: There must be a lasting ceasefire that will allow the path of humanitarian aid. 

Since the beginning of the evils of the Zionist regime in the region, which has currently left nearly 34 thousand martyrs in the Gaza Strip, Anwar Ibrahim and the people of Malaysia have supported the Palestinian people.
