On the auspicious occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Musa al-Kazem (AS, we present you a piece of poem on the 7th Imam written by Iran's English language poet, Dr. Hasan Najafi:
The Seventh Heir of the verse ‘Convey’
The eventh ‘Mowla’ whom Ghadir says to obey
The Seventh Heir of the veil of Zahra
The Seventh Heir of the Martyrs of Karbala
The Seventh Heir of the Prophet’s ‘Aba’
The Seventh son of the Holy Ka'ba
The Seventh run between Safa and Marwa,
And the first ‘Gateway of Needs’
The need to it in pressing speed proceeds,
In your lane whoever enters is safe
Faith gets strengthened no envy could chafe,
Your love is a rope betwixt earth and heaven,
Seek it in prisons or see its image in poison,
Your love is the Seventh Station towards Paradise,
Seven a symbol of perfection, else faith can’t finalise,
Haroun Rasheed! Tell me what you did you gain?
You imprisoned the Seventh Imam to isolate him in vain,
Since centuries the faithful have sought the Imam from far and wide
In a constant, continuous, regular torrential tide,
I don’t seen nor saw one asking where you hide,
The Imam's grave is roofed by a tomb of gold
And marble is the floor, all in love’s hold,
His shrine resplendently shines,
To visit it every pilgrim one pines,
He is a Branch of the Blest Tree rooted in heaven,
He is the Gateway of Paradise, Number Seven,
In comfort and ease the dead is alive,
At Kazem's threshold the faithful thrive,
Tribute of a tear is all that I have,
Your acceptance is all that I crave,
