Israeli regime forces injure 2 Palestinians north of al-Quds

Israeli regime forces have reportedly shot and injured two young Palestinians during a raid on a refugee camp north of East Jerusalm al-Quds.

According to reports on Monday, the Zionist regime forces stormed the Qalandia refugee camp, injured the two Palestinians and detained five others.

The two Palestinians suffered injuries by Israeli gunfire during clashes which erupted between Palestinian youth and the Israeli forces in the refugee.

Reports also say the Israel forces, who stormed the camp for arrests, used live ammunition, rubber bullets and stun grenades against the Palestinians.

The Palestinians responded to the assault by throwing stones at the Israeli soldiers.

Over recent months, Israeli forces have frequently raided Palestinians’ homes in the West Bank, arresting dozens of Palestinian people, who are then transferred to Israeli detention centers where they are kept without any charges.

The Palestinian Prisoners Society said in a statement on Sunday Israeli forces arrested 350 Palestinians during raids on scores of houses across the occupied West Bank throughout January.

According to the Palestinian nongovernmental organization, Israel detained 383 Palestinians across the West Bank in December 2014.
