Pakistan: Lahore to host Imam Reza (AS) cultural-art festival

Lahore – On the occasion of birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), Iran Cultural Center in Lahore plans to hold the Imam Reza (AS) cultural-art festival from October 9 to 14.

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the program will be held with the presence of political, scientific and cultural figures, eminent intellectuals and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) poets at Imam Reza (AS) Hall of Iran Cultural Center in Lahore.

Opening the Razavi exhibition and holding poetry reading session, specialized painting and calligraphy contests for children and teenagers in the schools of Lahore, as well as competitions on writing itineraries and letters to Imam Reza (AS) will be among the programs of the Iranian center for the festival.

It is due to be opened by Thamineh Khavar Hayat, representative of Punjab Parliament and member of the Committee for Teenagers and the Youth in Punjab.

The festival will be held with the participation of educational centers, schools, universities and faculties as well as Shia and Sunni religious centers of the city.
