Iranian president: Israel shuddered by nuclear agreement

Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani described the nuclear agreement between Tehran and the world powers as a victory for all nations.
He said Israel is the only regime which is angry and frightened by the agreement.

Addressing the people in the south-western part of Tehran Province on Thursday, Rouhani said that during the past three decades after the Islamic Revolution's victory in Iran, the Zionist regime of Israel grew disappointed and dreadful three times; first, right after the victory of the Islamic Revolution and ruling of the Islamic Republic in Iran (1979); second, after the end of Iraqi-imposed war against Iran (1988); and today, after the agreement between Iran and the Group 5+1 in Vienna (July 14).

The Iranian president said "Today all the regional nations and the great Iranian nation, except the usurper Zionist regime and the American warmongers, are happy with this big agreement."

Rouhani further commended the Iranian nation, legal experts and diplomats, saying that Iranian representatives honorably returned home victoriously following 23 months of painstaking negotiations.

The UN Security Council on July 20 unanimously endorsed a draft resolution turning the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) into international law. All 15 members of the UN body voted for the draft UN resolution in New York, setting the stage for the lifting of the Security Council sanctions against Iran
