Iranian Leader’s Letter Serves Dialogue among Nations

A Lebanese political analyst hailed the beneficial effects of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s recent letter on the Islamic community, saying it contributes to dialogue among nations.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s new letter to the Western youth works toward valuable goals such as “public security across the Islamic community” and establishment of an atmosphere of “dialogue and cooperation among nations on the basis of mutual respect," Amin Hotait, an expert in military and strategic affairs said.

His comments came after Ayatollah Khamenei on November 29 sent a second letter in less than a year to the youth in the Western countries, following a series of terrorist attacks in France.

In the letter, Ayatollah Khamenei called on the Western youth “to lay the foundations for a correct and honorable interaction with the Islamic world based on correct understanding, deep insight and lessons learned from horrible experiences.”

Elsewhere in his comments, Hotait said the Leader’s move to directly address the young Western youth signifies that there is no hope for a change in the Western governments’ attitude.

The letter will help Western activists realize the truth and put pressure on their governments, he added.
