Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has urged Muslims not to fall into the latest US-Zionist trap.

According to Press TV, Ayatollah Khamenei said that the subterfuge was devised to promote Iranophobia and foment strife between Shias and Sunnis, particularly during the hajj rituals in Saudi Arabia.

During a visit to the city of Kermanshah in western Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei said, “The Americans are trying their best to regain control of the region, but it's useless. Muslim nations are now vigilant,” noting that Shias and Sunnis must remain vigilant and counter the new propaganda campaign against Iran through cooperation and dialogue.

The Leader stated that Iran has overcome all the imposed challenges to this very day, adding, “With the help of God, it will also overcome any other challenge it might happen to face in the future.”

On the third day of a trip to the western Iranian province of Kermanshah on Friday, the Leader met with thousands of Basiji forces, and said Basiji spirit should always be promoted so that it increases in all segments of Iranian society.
