The major cities in Western Europe and North America are all set to stage rallies on Friday - World Qods Day, in support of the oppressed Palestinian people.

The Last Friday of blessed month of Ramadhan, was designated as World Qods Day by the Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini (God bless him) in 1979, and eversince major rallies have been staged throughout the world on this day. In cases, where Friday is not a public holiday, supporters of the Palestinian cause, have held such rallies on Saturday or Sunday.
