According to IRIB on Monday, the Secretary General of Islamic Republic of Iran’s Red Crescent Society, Zaher Rostami, has noted that the humanitarian assistance of Islamic Iran to famine-stricken Somali nation has been unprecedented in the history of Iran’s Red Crescent Society (IRCS).

He added that IRCS assistance to Somali nation continues, and based on forecasts, by the end of these operations in Somalia, this organization’s relief aid to Somalia will be twice the major relief assistance of the Iranian nation to Pakistan’s flood-hit victims.
