Lebanese speaker urges Muslims to boycott Israeli goods

Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri asked all Islamic states to get united and take practical actions against the Zionist regime like boycotting the Israeli goods.

"The Islamic countries' embassies should be transferred and strengthened in Quds, and the Islamic states should put on their agenda boycotting the goods made in the occupied lands, cease talks to normalize ties with the regime and condemn settlement construction," Berri said, addressing the 13th conference of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC) in Tehran on Tuesday.

He described Jerusalem al-Quds as the permanent capital of Palestine, warning, "The Zionist regime is attempting to take the identity of Arabs and Muslims in the occupied territories from them by forcing the Arabs to immigrate."

Berri criticized certain Arab states for highlighting differences, stressing the need for them to support Palestine in a united front.
