Ahmadinejad: Iran to Announce Major Nuclear Achievements

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced Saturday that the "world is to witness Iran's announcement of very major nuclear achievements' in coming days."

As Tehran is marking the anniversary of 1979 Islamic Revolution, Ahmadinejad confirmed that "Iranians have always played a determining role in the course of history and are set to definitely change the future of the world."

"The world should know that despite all pressures, Iran will not withdraw one inch from its principles and rights," he said.

The Iranian President further stressed that "all countries have put pressure on us for not obtaining nuclear knowhow, but all these pressures were futile. We not only now have the nuclear knowhow but also are capable of providing for our needs by our own local experts."

The Iranian President confirmed that "the Iranian nation is making its presence in the scene to wash away all its enemies and express its determination to continue its efforts to maintain independence of the country."

 

He stressed that the Iranians will reach all their goals which are based on the true identity and ideals of the human kind.

Speaking at the major festival in Tehran, Ahmadinejad called on the Western powers to take heed of the world nations' demands against the backdrop of the spreading popular movements across the globe.

 

"The huge awakening is underway. The storm of global awakening is underway. If you do not join the nations, this storm will uproot tyranny and oppression. It is to your interest to be on the side of the nations," the Iranian President said, addressing the Western powers.
