Tehran – The Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has described labor as the axis of life, movement and continued progress of every society.
Addressing exemplary Iranian workers as well as workers of Daru Pakhsh pharmaceutical and industrial units, Ayatollah Khamenei congratulated workers on the occasion of workers’ week and stated that labor in its comprehensive term including physical, intellectual, scientific and managerial works forms the axis of life, movement and continued progress of every society.
According to IRIB World Service, the Leader touched upon the act of misuse by socialist and capitalist governments towards workers and emphasized that Islam adopts an honest approach towards workers and considers labor as valuable and source of creating values based on a strong logic.
He stressed the need for further manifestation of Islamic logic and thoughts in planning and measures related to labor and termed capital and labor force as two wings of national production aimed at progress and reiterated that one should respect Iranian labor and capital in order to make national production feasible in its real sense.
He referred to the significance of hard work and perseverance by workers, investors and managers of state and private sectors in order to overcome the economic conspiracy of the enemy and underlined that the people can show their resolve for countering the enemy by consuming domestically-made products.
He pointed to the government’s resolve for boosting national production emphasizing that fundamental actions must be taken in this regard and the strength of the country’s economy requires relentless efforts by the executive, legislative and judicial branches.
