Islamabad – Senior Pakistani political Leader on Wednesday said that the teachings of Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) will continue to inspire Muslims around the world.
Talking to IRNA, former Senator S.M Zafar said the late Father of the Islamic Revolution, is the pride of the Muslim world.
He said that Imam Khomeini has correctly pointed out that incompetent leadership is the real problem of Muslims.
S.M Zafar said that differences among Ummah are paving the way for West to conspire against Muslims.
“We need unity,” he pointed out. He was of the view that leaders of the most of Muslim countries are forwarding American agenda.
He opined that people of Muslim countries are tired of their despotic rulers. “Today we are witnessing a wave of awakening in Muslim Ummah which has definitely roots in the Islamic Revolution of Iran,” he said.
The politician strongly believed that late Imam Khomeini has revived the issue of Palestine. Zafar added today the voice of Imam Khomeini is echoed in the whole world and the West has to realize that without resolving the long standing issue of Palestine, peace cannot be restored in the world.
He thanked the Iranian government for keeping the issue of Palestine alive by Al-Quds day. He said that the Muslims should express solidarity with Palestinians.
