Probe to continue to determine Sadr fate: Libya UN envoy

The Libyan deputy ambassador to the UN says new clues have been found about the fate of senior Lebanese cleric Imam Musa Sadr but investigations into the issue will continue to reach a final result.

“Only a few of the officials in the Libyan transitional government know of the latest findings about Imam Musa Sadr,” Ibrahim Dabbashi said on Saturday.

He said that a mass grave had been found in the capital, Tripoli, adding that based on obtained information one of the bodies most probably belonged to Imam Musa Sadr.
