The Leader of Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, has emphasized that the third wave of inclination towards the sacred religion of Islam has taken shape.

According to IRIB World Service, the Leaded of Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with the Shiite and Sunni Ulema of Kermanshah Province, western Iran, on Wednesday night, noted that the popular movements in the region and disappointment of the Western people of the capitalist system marks the third wave of inclination toward the sacred religion of Islam. The Leader further pointed out that in such fateful circumstances, the Muslim clerics should be well-equipped with spirituality and science in order to present the religious teachings to current generation with reference to Holy Qur'an and Prophet's tradition in a logical and understandable manner.

The Leader further divided the waves of inclination to Islam to three phases, while reminding that the first wave of inclination toward the sacred religion of Islam took shape concurrent with the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution, and the second wave was shaped following the failure of Marxist system.

The Leader reiterated, today, while the statements of Islamic Republic of Iran about the inconclusiveness of the Marxist system has materialized and is also materializing in regard to capitalist system; the Ulema and clerics should make use of solid wise principles to present the logical and deep-rooted Islamic teachings for their ever-increasing enthusiasts across the world.

In further remarks, the Leader of Islamic Revolution said that the victory of Iran's Islamic Revolution and victory of the main revolution of the current era in Egypt were among the seemingly impossible developments, while adding that the clerics should take into account their major goals in fulfilling their duties and promoting the sacred religion of Islam.

The Leader underscored that today the opponents use different modern hardware and software to attack Islam and to cast doubt among youths, and approaches appropriate for the needs of young generation should be used to counter these attacks.

Furthermore, the Leader pointed out that causing discord among Shiites and Sunnis is one of the means aimed to undermine the sacred religion of Islam, while adding that the Shiite and Sunni Ulema should be cautious of these conspiracies and should find the approaches for countering the foes' conspiracies through holding joint meetings and via mutual cooperation.
