Leader of the Islamic revolution said the rashness, anger and harsh actions of the enemies of the Islamic republic indicate the increasing progress of the Iranian nation in science and technology.
Addressing the members of the Assembly of the Experts on Thursday, the leader pointed to the achievements of the Iranian nation in different arenas and stressed, “The Iranian nation’s progresses in the domains of science and technology have made the enemy frantic and angry.”
Referring to the western pressures and sanctions to hurdle Iran’s peaceful nuclear activities and make Iranian nation give in to their extremism, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei underlined, “Just as sanctions made young specialists rely on their know-how and abilities to gain nuclear technology, in other cases, too, we can use pressures for the benefit of the country.”
Leader of the Islamic revolution called confrontation of the people against the Islamic republic system as the main aim of the sanctions, adding, “The westerners hoped that pressuring the people would put them against the system but what happened on 22 of Bahman this year was opposite of their wish.”
Pointing to the recent talks of Iran and the G5+1 in Almaty, Ayatollah Khamenei made it clear, “In this session the westerners didn’t do anything significant to define it as granting concession, but they just admitted, in a small scale, to a part of the Iranian nation’s rights.”
Leader of the Islamic revolution said on the economic crises in Europe and the US, “Westerners, besides their economic problems, have been gripped in some of the problems stemming from the sanctions against Iran. This comes as while their problems have no solution but Iran has solution for its economic problems.”
Ayatollah Khamenei called the elections in Iran as one of the best, most free and most standard elections in the world adding, “The aim of examining the qualification of the candidates is to introduce capable and qualified persons in compliance with the intention and inclination of the people to elect.”
