There are many traditions about the date of martyrdom of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh), according to a tradition, it is 75 days after the death of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on the 13th day of Jumadi al-Awali. and also the opinion of Sunnis) and according to the most famous narration, his martyrdom is 95 days after the death of the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad. (Q) According to the third of Jumadi al-Thani, 11th year of Hijri.
The will of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (pbuh) to Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him)
Hazrat Zahra, peace be upon him, on the last day of her life, while suffering from illness, asked Hazrat Ali, peace be upon him, to execute her 3 wills. He said to Hazrat Ali (peace be upon him):
1. O Ali, you will personally perform my funeral.
2. Those who have caused me distress should not attend my funeral.
3. Take my body to the cemetery at night.
Therefore, according to his will, Hazrat Ali, peace be upon him, carried out the entire funeral and took him to Jannat Baqi' at night with only his relatives and children, where he rested and his wishes were fulfilled.
On the occasion of the burial of Hazrat Fatima (PBUH), Amir al-Momineen (AS) addressed her grave and said: O Prophet of God! Say hello to me and your daughter, who is buried near you, and we will visit you soon. O chosen messenger! Your daughter's death made me restless. I have lost control and stamina.
On the third day of Jumadi al-Thani, Shiites mourn the martyrdom of Fatima (PBUH).
Every year, Shiites organize a mourning and charity ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Fatima (PBUH).
On this occasion, black mourning flags are placed on the graves of Shia imams.
