Senior Iranian and Pakistan authorities have exchanged views on major issues pertaining to mutual relations, particularly in the economic sector, as well as to regional and international developments.
According to Press TV, visiting President Hassan Rouhani and Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held one-on-one talks at the Prime Minister's House in Islamabad on Friday.
Immediately after the meeting between Rouhani and Sharif, high-ranking Iranian and Pakistani delegations started talks. At the end of this round of talks, the sides are scheduled to sign six documents for cooperation in different fields of trade and commerce, insurance, culture, academy, health and medicine.
The Iranian president arrived in Pakistan on Friday on his first landmark visit since the implementation of a nuclear agreement between Tehran and the P5+1 group of six countries.
Rouhani is heading a high-ranking politico-economic delegation, including 60 Iranian businessmen, during his two-day official visit to Islamabad.
