A hijacked passenger plane has landed at Larnaca Airport in Cyprus, the state broadcaster is reporting.
The EgyptAir plane was reportedly hijacked by at least one armed man during an internal flight from Alexandria to Cairo before heading to Cyprus.
Officials say 55 passengers and seven crew are on board the A320 airliner.
The hijackers have made no immediate demands, according to reports.
A Cypriot government official said there are suspicions of a bomb on board.
The plane took off from Alexandria at 8am local time.
A hijacker contacted the control tower at 8.30 am local time (5.30am in UK) and the plane was given permission to land at 8.50 am local time.
A crisis team including ambulances were deployed to the airport.
The flight number is MSR181.
