On Tuesday evening, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran launched a series of missile and drone attacks against their bases in Jordan in response to the US military's aggressive attacks.

Following Iran's punitive attacks, the Jordanian army claimed in a statement that "air defense systems countered 13 ballistic missiles, 10 of which were intercepted and destroyed, and three of which landed in remote areas." The Jordanian army continued its claims by adding that the attack did not cause any damage or casualties.

While the Israeli media reported that areas near American bases in Jordan were witnessing extensive activity of rescue helicopters and ambulances, and local sources published images of the wounded being transported to the American bases targeted by the attack.
