In Statements No. 36 and 37, the IRGC announced that Wave 24 of Operation Nasr 2 targeted and reportedly destroyed air defence systems, long-range radar installations, FPS-117 radar systems, satellite communications facilities, communications centres, Patriot missile batteries, and MQ-9 drone hangars at Al Muharraq and Al Riffa in Bahrain, as well as Ahmad Al Jaber and Ali Al Salem bases in Kuwait. The IRGC described the operation as part of a broader strategy to "neutralise enemy radar capabilities" ahead of further military operations
