According to a Majlis correspondent for Fars News Agency, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, wrote in an English post on his personal page on the X social network, addressing American officials: The Americans think that by putting more pressure on Iran, they can gain concessions that were never part of the text of the understanding.
He also wrote: Basnet (Treasury Minister) and Hegsett (War Minister) are not up to the task at all. Don't expect this team of clowns to perform miracles and, like magicians, suddenly pull a rabbit out of their hat and pull you out of the crisis you created with your own hands.
