Two Oil Tankers Stopped in Waters South of the Strait of Hormuz

The Public Relations office of the IRGC Navy announced that two oil tankers—one east and the other west of the Strait of Hormuz—encountered incidents while attempting to traverse unauthorized routes and were subsequently brought to a halt in the waters south of the Strait.

These two tankers had deactivated all of their navigation and positioning systems and, with the support of the "terrorist" U.S. military, attempted to exit the Strait of Hormuz via an unauthorized path.

Following multiple radio warnings—which were ignored—the two tankers entered an unsafe zone, encountered incidents, and were brought to a stop off the southern coast of the Strait of Hormuz.

The halting of these vessels and the fires that broke out on board are the result of the "malign" actions of the "terrorist" U.S. military, combined with the vessels' disregard for and violation of Iranian regulations governing the Strait of Hormuz.
