Strongly criticizing the Zionist regime's bullying tactics in the region, the Emir of Qatar stated that officials of the regime are openly calling for the forced displacement of the people of Gaza.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday evening, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, said that the West Asia region is currently at its most dangerous juncture.

Noting that unrealistic approaches have fueled the crisis in the region, Tamim bin Hamad stated that dialogue and negotiation are the only solutions to disputes.

Observing that the mere passage of time resolves no crisis, he emphasized that the root cause of current events is the lack of a collective security framework in the region that prioritizes resolving conflicts through peaceful means.

Events in Gaza Are a Stain on Humanity

Emphasizing that the Gulf crisis can only be resolved through diplomacy, the Emir of Qatar also addressed the situation in Palestine, stating, "What has occurred in Gaza is a stain on humanity."

He further stressed, "As long as Palestine remains a blind spot in the international system, speaking of a just international order is meaningless. What happened in Gaza is, in the true sense of the word, 'genocide'."

Noting that the catastrophe in Gaza is ongoing, Tamim bin Hamad stated, "Israeli leaders openly declare that the solution for Gaza is the forced displacement of its inhabitants. Nevertheless, we will continue our efforts to solidify a ceasefire in Gaza and transform it into a lasting peace."
