Australian researcher’s analysis of the Strait of Hormuz
The Strait of Hormuz is open to you, if the owner wants it.
Australian author and researcher Tim Anderson: The Strait of Hormuz is open. It has been open every day since February 28. The IRGC never closed it, but instead turned 21 miles of international waterway into a gateway with permits, tolls, an approval process and a guest list. Traffic has dropped by 70 to 80 percent. But the handful of tankers that pass through each day do so with IRGC permission, paying $2 million to $4 million per vessel, paid in yuan or USDT.
The process is now documented. A tanker operator contacts an intermediary linked to the IRGC. The operator provides information on the vessel’s ownership, country of registry, cargo manifest, destination, crew list and Automatic Identification System (AIS) data. The IRGC conducts background checks: no US-related ownership, Israeli cargo, or registration in the name of aggressor countries. If approved, fees are negotiated. Payment is made in cash, Chinese yuan, or USDT on the Tron network. The IRGC issues a VHF radio license with a specified time slot and route through Iranian territorial waters near Lark Island, where the IRGC Navy conducts visual verification. The ship passes. No physical escort is provided. Protection means removing the threat of interference. You are safe because the entity that was attacking you has decided not to attack.
China passes. India passes. Pakistan, Turkey, Malaysia, Iraq, Bangladesh pass. Shadow fleet operators aligned with Russia pass. Not all pay the full fee. Some are exempt through government-to-government agreements. Some pay at a reduced rate. Some pay nothing, because geopolitical alignment is worth its weight in gold. This system is not a blockade. It is a membership club with an entrance fee, paid in currencies other than the US dollar.*
And that is what no one covers. Lloyd’s of London and the International Insurance Market have removed standard hull and machinery cover for passage through Hormuz. War risk policies now carry a premium of up to 5% of the value of the ship, or $5 million per voyage for a $100 million tanker. But the actuarial models that price these premiums now include IRGC approval status as a risk-reducing variable. If a ship can prove it has paid its dues and received a VHF license, the probability of loss drops from more than 20% to less than 5%. The same models that price hurricane and earthquake risk now price IRGC compliance as a safety factor.*
The insurance industry has done what no government has ever intended: it has institutionalized the IRGC’s control over the strait into the actuarial mathematics. A tanker that pays its tolls is insurable. A tanker that doesn’t is grounded. Dozens of ships are currently stranded outside the strait, unable to pass because no insurer will cover them. The withdrawal of insurance is not a market reaction. It is a structural enforcement mechanism that makes IRGC permits a prerequisite for commercial shipping.
Every toll paid in yuan is a barrel settled outside the dollar system. Every USDT transaction on the Tron network is a three-second settlement that bypasses SWIFT and sanctions. The Iranian parliament is drafting legislation to formalize the tolls as security compensation. If the bill passes, the temporary levies will become sovereign law, and the history of revenue generation from bottlenecks will be brought into the framework of international law.
Gold is watching from the sidelines. Spot prices have been squeezed between $5,000 and $5,400, driven by the strength of the dollar and rising yields, while the central banks of China, Russia and India have been quietly adding to their reserves with each price drop. The short-term safe haven has not been activated. The long-term process of de-dollarization is underway.
The strait is open. Bars move. But only for those who pay the levies, in a currency that accepts levies, after confirmation that it does levies. The rest wait. Hours...
Israeli Media: We Will Not Participate in Ground Operations Against Iran
While the Western media continues to hype the possibility of a US ground operation against Iran, the Zionist regime’s Channel 12 TV channel denied any participation of Israeli military personnel in such an operation.
According to the media outlet, “In the event of a US ground operation in Iran, Israeli soldiers will not participate in the operation.”
Referring to the news, the famous American business media outlet “Cubic Letter” wrote: “So, the country that pressured the United States to enter this war, attacked South Pars without (America’s) permission, continues its attacks during negotiations, and the country whose entire intelligence agencies are justifying all these operations, will not send a single soldier if the operation becomes so dangerous that it requires the deployment of infantry.
Parliament speaker rejects Trump’s reckless ultimatums, says any strike on Iran will trigger decisive retaliation
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has denounced US President Donald Trump’s aggressive threats against the Islamic Republic, warning that any act of aggression will be met with a crushing response from the Iranian nation.
In a statement posted on X on Monday, directly addressing Trump’s repeated ultimatums targeting Iran’s energy infrastructure, Qalibaf exposed the enemy’s tactic of disguising its aggressive desires as “news” while issuing open threats.
“The enemy promotes its desires as news while threatening our nation at the same time. Big Mistake. If they hit one, they’ll take several back,” the Parliament speaker stated.
Qalibaf expressed absolute confidence in the Iranian people’s steadfastness, stressing that under the wise and prudent leadership of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the nation will compel any aggressor to bitterly regret its adventurism and will fully reclaim its legitimate rights.
“God willing, the people of Iran, under the leadership of the Supreme Leader, will make the enemy regret the aggression and reclaim their rights,” he stated.
Iran rights body blasts attacks on Bushehr nuclear plant as grave breach of international law
Iran's High Council for Human Rights has condemned attacks on the Islamic Republic's peaceful nuclear facilities, particularly the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, during the US-Israeli aggression, calling them a "grave and manifest violation of international law."
In a statement on Tuesday, the council expressed "serious and profound concern" over repeated attacks on the plant that is located in southern Iran.
It stressed that the facility was an active civilian installation operating under continuous international supervision and verification, including the safeguards system.
Iran’s Armed Forces will cut off the feet of any aggressor: Top military command
Iran’s highest operational command unit asserts that the country’s Armed Forces and nation have always frustrated the enemies’ wrongheaded plots and will continue to do so.
The comments were issued on Tuesday by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters that coordinates operations between the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC).
“The miscalculations of the US president and the criminal leaders of the Zionist regime have led them to measure the heroic, warrior nation of Iran and the country’s powerful and courageous Armed Forces by their own materialistic and worldly standards,” said the headquarters’ spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari.
“Such erroneous calculations have made the unprecedented presence of the vigilant and revolutionary people on the streets, as well as the miraculous power and steadfastness of the Armed Forces on the battlefield, impossible for the enemy to foresee,” he added.
“This strategic error by the American and Zionist enemies of the Islamic Iran has humiliated them and placed them on the path to destruction.”
It has been under such illusions that the enemies have been trying to force the nation into submission through propaganda and slaughtering of its members, including women and children, the spokesman stated.
This is while Iran has proven a nation that throughout history has never bowed before its enemies, he added.
Zolfaqari cited the enemies’ vain attempts at reopening the strategic Strait of Hormuz that the Islamic Republic has closed to enemies and their allies, as a case in point, as far as their doomed efforts at forcing the nation to surrender are concerned.
“They will take that wish to their graves forever,” he noted, referring to the potential reopening of the waterway under enemy pressure.
The nation and its Armed Forces “will cut off the feet of any aggressor against their country and bring them down into disgrace and utter humiliation,” the official concluded.
The comments came amid the Armed Forces’ ongoing retaliatory Operation True Promise 4.
The operation has seen the forces unleash at least 88 waves of determined and successive missile and drone counterstrikes against strategic and sensitive American and Israeli targets throughout the West Asia region.

Op. True Promise 4, Wave 88: IRGC Navy says it launched 'heavy' attacks on US-Israeli targets
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy has carried out four operations against American and Israeli terrorist targets in the early hours of Tuesday, delivering blows as part of the 88th wave of Operation True Promise 4.
The IRGC Public Relations Department announced that the naval forces launched a "heavy" offensive against enemy positions.
A container ship belonging to the Israeli regime, named Express Halfong, was struck by ballistic missiles in the middle waters of the Persian Gulf, according to the statement.
In a second combined operation, it added, a hideout of US Marines along the coast of the United Arab Emirates, where they had taken cover outside military bases fearing Iran's destructive missiles, was precisely targeted and destroyed by explosive drones.
The IRGC Navy also destroyed a counter-drone system belonging to the US Fifth Fleet that had been deployed outside its base near Manama airport in Bahrain, said the statement, adding that additionally, two advanced early warning radars at the "Jaber al-Ahmad" US terrorist base in Kuwait were hit by drones.
The IRGC statement reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz is fully and firmly under the control of its forces.
"The smallest movement of enemies will be met with missile and drone strikes," the statement warned.
The 88th wave of Operation True Promise 4 is the latest in a series of near-daily Iranian retaliatory strikes since the United States and Israel launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on February 28.
Since then, Iran’s armed forces have responded with waves of missile and drone operations targeting US military bases across West Asia and Israeli positions in the occupied territories.
The IRGC has defended these operations as legitimate self-defense under international law.
In recent days, the scale and precision of Iranian strikes have intensified.
On Monday, the IRGC executed the 87th wave of Operation True Promise 4, striking US command centers and military installations across the region in a tribute to Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri, the IRGC Navy commander who was martyred while reinforcing Iran’s coastal defenses.
That operation destroyed a US command and control center near Al Minhad Air Base in the UAE, where more than 200 American commanders and officers were present, as well as the hideout of US Fifth Fleet commanders in Bahrain.
The IRGC has also expanded its targets to include economic infrastructure linked to US military supply chains.
On March 28, in a coordinated missile and drone operation, Iran struck the Emirates Aluminum (EMAL) plant in the UAE, the world’s longest aluminum production line, and the Aluminum Bahrain (ALBA) plant, which operates with American investment and plays a significant role in supplying US military industries.
The attack came in response to the US-Israeli attacks on Iran's industries, including against two main steel producers in Isfahan and Khuzestan provinces.

The state of the war from the media's perspective
Gulf Arabs privately doubt U.S. security guarantees and express concern about the Trump team’s lack of strategy in the Iran war, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter.
Many officials have questioned President Donald Trump’s logic, commitment and goals in the war, as well as the value of hosting U.S. bases that have made their countries targets.
Gulf states worry that Trump will reach a deal with Tehran that does not limit its production of ballistic missiles or support for proxy militia groups, leaving them alone with an angry and bitter Iran.
Trump: To be honest, I am looking to seize Iranian oil!
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Donald Trump put together several sentences in his own unique style, and although he did not say anything new, he tried to use new sentences. Short sentences that are contradicted by another sentence as soon as they end.
He once again said that the United States has completely destroyed Iran's military power; a claim that has been repeated since the early days of the war, and every time the American media and circles ridicule it in some way; today, the New York Times wrote in a detailed report: "Contrary to Trump's claim, Iran is not toothless."
Furthermore, the US President, who has voiced numerous goals for invading Iranian territory since the beginning of the war, this time stated that seizing Iranian oil was the goal of the war.
He said bluntly—and this time with sincerity—"To be honest, my favorite thing to do is to take Iranian oil, but some stupid people in America say, 'Why are you doing this?' But they are stupid people."
Attack on Kharg means a sea of blood for American soldiers
Attack on Kharg means a sea of blood for American soldiers
Isaac Jahangiri: The invaders must cross a sea of blood to capture Kharg/A ground invasion is Trump's biggest mistake
For an inch of Iranian soil, a "sea of blood" must be crossed/Iran's condition for a ceasefire; A real guarantee that aggression will not be repeated/The US and Israel's miscalculation brought them into the war/The Hormuz threat is a bluff; Iran has alternative ways to export oil/Defense power and people's morale upset the enemy's equations/Warning to the invaders:
Iran will not allow them to achieve their goals/The war showed that the enemy's calculations about Iran were wrong
The biggest mistake America made after the war began would be to enter Iran by land; it doesn't matter if it is Kharg or any other point.
The invaders must cross a sea of blood to capture even an inch of Iranian soil, and this is the definitive position of the Iranian nation.
The US's incorrect analysis of Iran's defense power and people's morale brought them into a war in which its calculations were wrong.
The US threats regarding the Strait of Hormuz are a bluff, and a land invasion would be costly and irreparable for them.
Iran, using its geographical and defensive capabilities, will not allow the aggressors to achieve their goals.
A ceasefire is only acceptable when an objective guarantee is provided that the aggression will not be repeated.
The air warning radar belonging to the American terrorists was precisely hit
The air warning radar belonging to the American terrorists was precisely hit and destroyed by the F-16 fighter jets
Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps:
4 successful and lightning-fast operations of the IRGC Navy against American and Zionist targets were carried out in the continuation of the 87th wave of Operation Sadiq Promise 4 with the codename "Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS)"
This morning, during intelligence and operational measures, the IRGC Navy soldiers succeeded in destroying 4 gathering points of commanders and facilities of the American and Zionist enemies with powerful and lightning-fast strikes.
In a combined operation, the intelligence and operational soldiers of this force succeeded in destroying the covert control center of the American terrorists that had been established outside the Minahad base in one of the cities of the Emirates with pinpoint missiles. More than 200 American commanders and mid-level officers were present in this covert center.
In another combined operation, the secret residence of the commanders of the US Fifth Fleet outside the main base in Bahrain was also targeted by a drone during a commanders' meeting.
The presence and traffic of ambulances indicated the outcome of the operation.
A container ship owned by the Zionist regime with the trade name (express room) and the flag of a third country was also targeted by the IRGC Navy's fighters with precise and effective missiles.
The air warning radar belonging to the American terrorists, guided by F-16 fighters, which was stationed outside the base and on the coast of the Dezharan region of Saudi Arabia, was also targeted and destroyed.
The achievements of these successful operations, which were a continuation of the proud actions of the IRGC Navy in the past days of the imposed war, were presented to the martyred commander of this force, Admiral Tangsiri.
The IRGC Navy will continue the path of the martyred General Tangsiri with strength and determination, and we are confident that that dear martyr is with us and is engaged in command.
And We intend to favor those who will not be weak on earth, and to make them leaders, and to make them inheritors
