Rulings on Fasting for Travelers

If a fasting person travels after dawn and the call to prayer for the morning prayer and arrives in his home country before the call to prayer for the afternoon prayer, can he fast that day, considering that he did not eat anything during the journey?

Answer:

Yes, he can, and in such a case it is obligatory to fast that day. It is not permissible to break his fast after arriving in his home city. If he breaks his fast in such a case, it will be an expiation.
